Working on the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Ahhhh. Once again it's homily weekend and I don't know what to preach about. The Second Reading from 1 Corinthians is about unity. The Gospel of Matthew for this weekend talks about repentance, the calling of Simon, Andrew, James and John, and the Kingdom of Heaven. It seems as if I could get something from these, but so far the Holy Spirit has not pushed me in any particular direction.

I do feel a little drawn toward addressing the widespread phenomenon of "cafeteria Catholics", but I've yet to firmly ground it in the readings for tomorrow. I guess I'll sleep on it and see if the Holy Spirit will give me that push.
